It’s Official

Like I mentioned in the last post I had a meeting with the District Committee on Ordained Ministry. I had to answer some pretty tough questions. But I learned they want to hear why I think and feel a certain way about different topics rather then the ‘right’ answer. Needless to say I was sweating, my hope was to get at least a 3/4 vote to continue the process…While they were voting I sat waiting in the choir room praying. With my meager piano skills I played Make Me a Servant over and over.

They called me back into the room and informed me of their UNANIMOUS vote YES! Huge sigh of relief. I will be appointed a mentor some time after the new year who will continue to walk me through the processes. The whole way home I had a smile plastered on my face.

"Hey, uhm are you pregnant?"

“Hey, uhm are you pregnant?”

Now I can take a deep breath and enjoy the next 10-12 weeks as we await the baby’s arrival. The reality of four children in starting to become less myth and more freek out! The closer we get the more exhausted I become. So glad for a husband who is willing to help and who also is able to ignore to a certain extent, the pile of children toys that trail from the playroom to the couch in the living room. Nesting is taking on a whole new meaning with baby #4. I gave up attempting to sanitize and organize months ago. Instead I am attempting not to fall on the toys that I have no energy to pick up.

Huge praise. The peace maker has transitioned himself to regular big kid cups and is now in a toddler bed at the age of 1 1/2! I hope when the time comes potty training goes this easily.
